Part the First:  BBCA has announced that the second season of Torchwood will be broadcasting in January almost concurrent with the BBC.  Which is awesome.  Except we don't get BBCA on our cable package.  (Shh, I saw most of season one on YouTube ages ago.)  Must ponder the upgrade.

And now...SPOILERS for tonight's

Part the Second:  Interesting Bones tonight, a continuation of the Gormagon thing.  It's a little to much Evil Overlord to me - unless it turns out there is some personal connection to Bones, the whole thing is overly elaborate.  And I'm either being oversensitive, or they're trying to McGuffin us with Hodgins.  On the other hand, a good use of Brennan's family, good use of the Squints, no useless Angela's marriage stuff, AwesomeCaroline the Lawyer appeared, and Booth and Bones got blowed up.  I give it a B+.

Part the Third:  House was interesting.  The magician POTW had an English accent - I wonder if that made it hard on Hugh Laurie.  There was no Cam or Chase at all, and minimum Foreman and Cuddy.  Wilson didn't show until halfway through, but he had a few good scenes and there was Foosball.

PLUSES:  Big Love is gone.  I didn't hate him, but he didn't really have a lot of discernable personality, and I am so ready for the new duckling auditions to end.  Called the deal with Cuddy, though I find all the underpant stuff rather gross.  And the idea that women always wear matching bras and panties - yeah, right!

Interesting case, if the medicine pans out - must check Polite Dissent later to see.

They finally revealed 13's secret.  I don't know if it was really a good one, because all I could think of was Hannah on Everwood, and I was much more attached to her.  On the other hand, it's better than finding out she has halitosis, or smoked pot in college.  I wonder if they'll revisit her test results - I find it interesting that producers chose to go with having House toss them out on camera.  I think she should like either Chase or Wilson.  Not House.

MINUSES:  I don't expect strict adherence to the law from House, but it's getting ridiculous how they cut corners and get away with stuff.  I suppose it's better to elide over proper procedures rather than have Cuddy harp on them and then just roll over, but the way everyone seems to drug one another, regardless of what it will do to patient care, is starting to get a little old.
